Are you saying you manually grade your LOG footage from scratch rather than using any colour management or conversion settings? I would prefer to use a colour management conversion myself for consistency and speed. The problem I'm having is that my footage looks over-saturated and contrast heavy. A couple of other methods seem to have advantages - either using the Colour Space Transform effect, or using the Project Settings > Colour Management panel to set things up before adding an In put Colour Space to my footage. I've watched various tutorials about how to do this in Resolve and it seems like using a conversion LUT is maybe an outdated and lower quality way to do this. In Adobe Premiere I would normally do this by applying a conversion LUT from Canon. When I get my CLOG footage into Resolve I want to convert it to Rec 709 as a starting point for grading. ![]() There is no option to set the Colour Space to Cinema Gamut with CLOG - I only have that option with CLOG 3.
